Dunsfold 'Freebie viewing'

Due to family commitments cannot afford the time to spend all day there next weekend. However have got 'permission' to nip down on Sat and see the Lancs display,when i know the timetable. (Knowing my luck it will be right in the middle of a no go time zone!!)
Looking at Google maps it seems that there may well be a good view from the canal.

Is there anyone with local knowledge advise on places that are available without parking restrictions?
