Rhyl Air Show thanks to all
Discussion
It may not be the biggest Air show but well done to everyone who organised and participated in the display on both days, Sunday was a glorious day weather wise with perfect clear skies.
As usual the highlight for many was the Red Arrows although they did fly a modified display due to Red 3 at the hospital bedside of his wife. The event was well attended with spectators lining the prom along its length. The sad news on the day was that a SAR Sea King that was due to display had to divert to Caernafon to assist three divers in difficulty one of whom sadly died.

Didn't know the airshow was on, but then, I'm not an enthusiast. Saw a twitter feed on Sunday afternoon that the Red Arrows had just arrived at Hawarden airport, in readiness for the show. I'm just 10 mins from there so grabbed my camera and headed down.
The following pics are from them leaving for, and returning from Rhyl:

I'm off to Ayr tomorrow wheere I'm from, to see my Mum and will take in the Scottish Airshow on the Low Green on Saturday. The 2 Lancasters and the Vulcan are all taking part. So for someone with no real interest in planes, that's 2 events in the space of a week!
