Catalina over Ladybower Reservoir This Afternoon?

Was out for a walk at Langsett this afternoon (about 5:30). I heard a 'different' sounding aircraft and saw what looked like a Catalina flying fairly low over what must have been the Derwent/Howden/Ladybower dam area. It was a few miles away, but it certainly had a high wing and a large fin/rudder.

Anyone know if it was in that area today?

Saw if fly over Rutland around 18:00 yesterday as well, - very distinctive
