Yesterday afternoon the P51 Mustang took off at Goodwood for an air display and the starboard landing wheel didn't fold up, its appeared to be dangling free as it went overhead. I saw a Sptfire fly underneath so I guess the spit pilot was looking at it. Later I noted both wheels we're down, but the Mustang didn't do the display and went off somewhere.

Did it back back on the ground ok?

When it landed at Duxford it didn't taxi but was towed from where it came to a halt. I thought it strange at the time but the Goodwood incident explains it.
