Spotted 2 aircraft currently off the north coast of Cornwall at c20,000ft.

Anyone shed any light?

ETA - apparently now DIRTY 41

Hi
I just heard something heavy going over near Bude so I opened Flightradar24 (http://www.flightradar24.com/50.8,-5.06/9).
This just gave a registration number AE2DCF. Though if you open Playback over on the left of the pages tools and enter today 2014-09-17 and UTC of about 16:40 you will get to see the two aircraft you mention, plus their tracks and a little information when you click on the aircraft icon. Try running the Playback at 12x speed. I hope this helps.

Regards

Dave

it seems they might be F15-Es as one has had an interesting transponder issue before:

I wonder if the transponder changes with afterburner use, the names would sort of make sense then hehe

Hi just registered on this site, having heard a deep rumble from an aircraft travelling north above the east coast of Yourkshire
Checked flight radar and came up with Kuster 21 and AE2Dcf, googled it and found this thread.
So hello people
