Spitfire over Portsmouth

Yesterday I saw a Spitfire flying over Portsmouth, but I have no idea why. Apparently there was also a Tornado flypast as well.
Any ideas why?

Hello Chicken,

There were no airshows down this way over the weekend. Probably one of the Boultbee flight Academy two seat Spitfires that operates out of Goodwood. I've seen one over Portsmouth a fair few times since they arrived a few years ago. There is a rumour you may soon be able to get joyrides in them soon, though it ain't going to be cheap !
