Three F15s heading West over Somerset

Did anybody else see these earlier this afternoon? They passed by our house pretty low and made a wonderful noise.

It's not something we see flying over here very often, if at all.

Does anybody have any idea what they were up to and where they were from?.

im sure there was a post about 6 tornado's about too. Are the ruskies about or is a Friday hoon

I'm not sure the USAF perform QRA roles for us, so I expect the F15s were on exercises.

Neither does the Tornado.

Could be joint exercises. I remember a few years ago on the coast in Northumberland seeing 2 Tornados and 3 F15s doing maneuverers together.
