hello, in my wisdom of buying odd things at auction, i have got a couple of aircraft wheels and tyres,
is there anyone out there that might recognize these numbers, ive tried googling , but with out any luck.

The AH series is definitely not a series used on modern aircraft - which all begin with the "DR" prefix.

I found this on an historic aircraft forum. It might be an indicator as to its vintage. The writer is referring to the "AH" range of tyres.

"Tyre size was used on:- Audax---Demon--Fury--Gauntlet--Gladiator--Hart---Hector--Hind---Hurricane--and Slingsby Prefect Glider. But all of these used Dunlop Hub AH 5000 and Dunlop Tyres".

I also found an e-bay ad for an AH500 Type 19 tyre - which is claimed to be from a Spitfire tailwheel (it's a solid tyre).
