Chris Craft Continental 23 Production Numbers Options

Have jointly purchased a Chris Craft Continental with my brother, and trying to find some reliable information on production numbers and options.

Its is a 1956 23' model, fitted with an optional hardtop, optional third row seating, and the 331 Hemi V8.

It looks like there were only 97 of that size (23 foot) built, which appears to be a bit of a rarity in itself, but can't seem to find much more on the internet. Or am I looking in the wrong place

Is there an owners club? They usually hold quite extensive history on these things.
