Finally got round to watching this film after recording it a couple of weeks back.

Not a great plot, but well worth watching for an aviation fan. Plenty of shots of pre Pearl Harbour US Naval aircraft including carrier operations, and all in colour.

It looks like a variant of the Ryan PT-22.

Those Ryans came with all sorts of different front ends depending on what engine they were fitted with.
