Where to buy train tickets

For years I have bought tickets from East Coast who have an excellent rewards scheme. Sadly Virgin inter city have decided to ps off all of the loyal east coast customers and give crap nectar points instead.

As I'm not a loyal customer where can I get best value be it cheapest tickets or rewards?

Might be worth getting a Nectar card and sticking around Virgin. Their "Best Fare Finder" on the website can be quite good, especially if you have a little flexibility with your travel plans and those points add up.
