Best thing to do is declare it and find out if it's ok - if you don't and EMT find out later on it could harm your career. Rule number one on the footplate, be straight up at all times. TOCs don't take kindly to staff covering things up, whether intentionally or not. A couple of years ago one of our drivers was given the heave-ho when it transpired his driving licence only covered him for automatic vehicles, he'd been driving the fleet of manual company vans without letting on and he was out on his ear when one of our managers found out about it.

And it's not just gents on here that are train drivers, I beleive a certain ex military, female Subaru owner is also a trainee train driver.
