XH558 Control Column

According to a Facebook feed from VTTS some thieving little st has stolen a control column that they had on display/on loan.

They want it back - obviously.

Doubtful that it will appear anywhere (flea-bay, gumtree etc) however I thought it worthy of a thread on here in case someone see's it somewhere or gets offered one for sale.

I bet the thief is cr.pping themselves, TVOC are going to involve the old Bill if it's not given back!

Petty thieving like this really boils my piss.

Quite a few years ago I loaned a collection of Lotus F1 memorabilia to someone that I knew, & thought I could trust, to be displayed at an exhibition.

I had signed books, photos, one of Colin Chapmans courderoy caps, a helmet signed by the late Elio de Angelis & much more.

The stuff was displayed &, supposedly, crated up for me to collect once the exhibition was over.

I arrived to collect my stuff & it was gone. All of it.

No one knew who had collected the crate or when it was removed.

Never saw any of the stuff again.

Still annoys me to this day so I know how the owner of the control column must be feeling.
