Hola!

My mother has a house in Mojacar which my family and I have been visiting for about 8 years now. As our kids are getting older I am thinking about buying a boat and keeping it there.

We recently hired a speedboat for the day in Garrucha http://uk.topboats.com/barcos-alquiler/astromar-op...
which was fun to bomb up and down the coast on, however I am thinking about something slightly bigger like a Jeanneau Leader 805, which seems small and fast enough to have fun in and be relatively cheap to moor and run, but at the same time big enough for the odd night sleeping over and for general comfort. Example http://uk.topboats.com/barcos-ocasion/jeanneau-lea...

Both my wife and I have RYA Coastal ICC.

Im interested in any tips from forumites on either the boat or alternatives, or from those with experience of keeping a boat in Spain.

I am also after guidance on the different categories that they seem to have in relation to how far off the shore you are allowed to travel.

Thank you

Owen

I'm a raggie myself, but Spain seems to be pretty boat-friendly all in all. You'll get a lot more info over on the forums at http://www.ybw.com

There's also this:
