We are thinking of booking this for my Dad's 70th. Its a 20 minute flight for £2,750.00

Has anybody else done this or had a similar experience?

There is a thread or 2 in here. I believe it is slightly cheaper from Goodwood.

I was in Florida last week flying a Harvard at £340 for almost an hour, and on the same airfield they had a p51 which I believe is approx $3k per hour. In terms of value they might be worth considering?

Alternatively there are many places in the UK you could have an hour in a tiger moth for <1/3 of the spit cost.

Having said the above, I totally get that a spit experience would be without equal...

Tom Reilly's at Kissimmee Municipal? They used to rebuild B.17's there, not sure if they still are...
