Anybody been to Peenemunde V2 museum ?

As per the title.

I have to go to a conference in Berlin in a few weeks time and thought I could drive (I live in Amsterdam) and make a detour in the weekend to Peenemunde to see the museum from the V2 rocket factory etc.

Anyone been and is it worth a trip ?

I haven't but after watching Nazi Megastructures recently I want to. If you do go please enjoy it and post some pictures and let us know your thoughts on it.

Yes, a lot.

I worked at the shipyard Peenewerft in Wolgast. There really isn't much else around there to see. A great museum to see and lovely countryside. A weekend is enough though.

I think I'll give it a go then - having just bought myself a 996 Turbo be good to "stretch its legs" on the autobahn too

Ooh Ooh, a 996 will love those roads. I had a S8 and a S600 Merc on those long wooded straights are just lovely. Beware of the boars and deer at sunset though.
