Looked rather like they just collided shortly after coming out of the plane. Landed safely though damply!

All were fully deployed & the pair of them flew into each other which caused the parachute of the one below to collapse.
Crap & sensationalist reporting which made it sound like a spectacular mid air life saving catch.

Both chutes opened properly. They started manouevering into position to do their "stacked" routine. It didn't quite go to plan and two of them tangled.
That's my understanding too. Looked more like a mistake than a chute issue. I also reckon the lads have titanium nads....
