Brilliant day today, arrived early & bagged a premium spot right at the front. Some lovely aircraft there although some biggish gaps in displays. The Vulcan which was the prime reason to be there was awesome, first time I've seen it despite sponsoring on & off since the restoration started. A few of my pics, taken on two cameras. Still trying to get used to the new 'un, electronic viewfinder is a challenge so a big learning curve.

Was a good day out.

The Vulcan really looks like it shouldn't be able to do those manoeuvres.

Where did the Vulcan fly from? I saw it fly over (low) a pub beer garden in Oxfordshire on Saturday lunchtime

I believe it went to Eastbourne first. After Headcorn it went to Herne Bay then back to Donnie

This was its flight path yesterday.

I was going to drive over to Kent to see it but couldn't make the time. Booked tickets for Old Sarum airshow, closer to home.

We were there all weekend with a display of vehicles. The Vulcan was just as I remembered it during the 80's.
