Fatal Accident at Cannes Boat Show

Just heard about this although the details vary from website to website.

It appears the helmsman was thrown out when it hit a wave (without a kill-chord) and it started spiralling. The poor reporter clearly had no idea what was going on and decided to bail out, only to be hit/run over.
