Thirteen years and two rebuilds, 7000 miles, and hundreds of nights on board, days out, fortnight holidays cost me about £70k in total. Everyday was a happy day and I don't regret a penny.

It is far from 'end of an era', its more of a 'new beginning'.

I have a hit list of Fairey boats I want to own, prioritised, the top two are not for sale but are long term ashore and I'm in the process of approaching their owners.

Exciting times.
