i've seen them in afghanistan, in the hills surrounding kandahar air base. i guess this one was being tested prior to being sent somewhere nasty.

I believe this type is only used in the states on test. But yes it's a bit of a tongue twister. not surprised you;ve not heard of them though....

It's supposed to be part of the surveillance net over Washington DC. Big fear is a state/non-state actor launching a container-packed cruise missile from a cargo ship at sea.

main issue i have with this article is why would russia develop disguised military hardware in the first place? do they go out of their way to be shady these days?
