Talking to a couple of diver friends that recently visited Sharm el-Sheikh who said the airport security was an absolute joke!
They had a couple of large sea shells, collected when diving, that the customs guys allowed them to take on-board, in hand luggage, with a "bung"! (You're not supposed to remove anything from the seabed).
Not sure how much P.E. it would take to bring down an airliner, but I bet you could fit more than enough, complete with a mechanism to detonate in, a large sea shell!
Interesting to read yesterday talk of "impact damage" to the aircraft's interior...
Intrigued to see what Putin's reaction will be if proven a "device" did bring the flight down!

I've no idea but I do know your mates are a couple of cocks.

Leave the sea bed to be observed rather than taken home as trophies Hopefully there are still many many years left of diving in the Red Sea and personally I think it should be looked at and not stolen.
