What was going on at Hamburg Airport? - Sunday 20 December

Does anyone know how to find out the nature of the incident at Hamburg Airport last night?

Our flight home was delayed after the airport was closed for around 45 minutes. From what I could see, a medium-sized plane (Germanwings?) was surrounded by every emergency vehicle they had.

While this was going on outside, the terminal announcement system broadcast a couple of VERY LOUD messages saying 'Bundespolizei Funktest'. The combination of these events was a little unsettling, but no other information was given and I can't find any info in the news.

Without resorting to Google, 'funk' is radio isn't it? Police radio test?

As in 'Switch your radios on because otherwise we have to shout at you over the tannoy'
