There is a private 748 parked at the diamond hanger at STN right now. I'm sure its a nice way to travel. Money is another world with these things.

Yup, was on only the ground for a short while southside and I watched it take off at about 16.45.

I did a bit of work for Jet Aviation a few years back who do the kit out of VVIP private jets. They had a brand new 747-400 in the hanger at the time then being kitted out. If I recall correctly they had won a contract for a 747-8 which must be complete by now.

Unfortunately they wouldn't let us on to view any of the VVIP jets (just the VIP biz-jets) as very client confidential on how they are kitted out.
