This is currently moored a few metres from the drydock i'm working on in Portugal.



Stunning looking boat and it has a quadruple expansion engine on so i'll try to get a look at it before I leave next week.

EDIT: someones taking a loss on it... bought for scrap, spent $60m restoring it from the ground up.

Well I managed to have a look around it today and what a gorgeous boat.

It looks a little tired but the quality is obvious and it still has huge presence. Steam anchor winch, beautiful quadruple expansion engines which look in fantastic order. The Chief and Captain spoke of some possible upgrades to make it more useable but essentially it looks to be getting a spit and polish to its former glory.

Will be brilliant to see it under steam at some point so i'll have to keep an eye on it.
