Royal Scot - Steam Tour of the UK - RTC GBIX

We were expecting a double headed steam tour of the UK for days 1 & 2 of the 9 day marathon steam tour of the UK, and I had planned a 600 mile 2 day road trip to get shots in Berkshire, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. However one of the two engines broke down yesterday on its way to tour assembly point so we were left with one, a good one tho - LMS Royal Scot Class. I cancelled my plans, and just did a quick morning trip instead

However an interesting morning, so here we have my video from Midgham and Newbury Racecourse. I can recommend the burger at the cafe next to Newbury Racecourse Station.
