My flight in a Tigermoth
Discussion
The missus got me one of those red letter day voucher dooberies so instead of the obvious drive a Lambo or Atom I decided to give flying a go. First time in anything this small and I pretty much prefer my feet on the ground so it was a very different experience. one which I enjoyed whilst being simultaneously a bit terrified.
Highly recommend it to anyone who fancies it though. This particular one was out of Redhill aerodrome. Lots of other flights going on too. mostly helicopters it seemed.
Will try and get a pic up if anybody is interested.

This was a half hour flight. Same deal really once we were up I was apparently flying it. Was a bit windy and every time it blew us about I made a silly aaahhhh noise!
Would have been amusing on the in cockpit video thingy. luckily it wasn't working that day.
Thing that struck me most was the noise. I was pretty much deaf once we landed. Kinda like stepping out of a nightclub.

Heh heh. My brother did this out of Redhill years ago. The conversation over breakfast with the pilots went along these lines...
"Have you had breakfast Seefive sibling?"
"A little"
"Well I suggest that you fill up now then. Either a completely full tum or completely empty tum will help stop you throwing it all out again as we do some aerobatics".
Nice...
