Anyway, the big advantage of small planes is that they can land on smaller runways. Which means that they may be able to land closer to the eventual destination rather than having to land at a big international airport.

You are in MK I think? I heard this fly over as well. My daughter was asking what it was. The geek in me knew it was a Chinook from the sound. I used to work for EDS Defence at DLO Bicester and they used to fly over all the time.ZH893 43C4DE
