Jeez, straight into Barlinnie on remand? Ouch. One would expect though that at the next Crown Court hearing they'll be able to formulate some bail conditions, surrender passports etc to get them out....

Just checked the article and it seems the drink/fly limit is 9mcg/100ml as against 35mcg/100ml for the English drink drive limit... Ouch

One would suspect that they should know its zero tolerance in the job, so should be able to abide by it for fear of loss of job?
I have several friends that work in industry were random breath tests are common, one knows to only have 2 pints or a few shandies on a night out and refuses to contemplate anymore. Others just have cola on nights out when they are onsite in the morning.
I can't see how they can even have an excuse, let alone being allowed to fly again on commercial airlines.
