Navion Rangemaster
Discussion
Just back on the ferry from Rotterdam after a visit to Germany (ferry seemed about 1/3 full but judging by the sight of a lot of the passengers, the weight limit probably had already been met...or exceeded...) where I was lucky enough to have been taken up in a Navion Rangemaster.
I had not heard of this craft before and was really impressed with it. 4 seater, retractable undercarrige, 7 1/2 hour endurance, and really comfy/quiet. It looked nearly new and had quite a few gadgets not found on the Cessna 150 I have flown before. Couldn't believe it when I looked at the data plate to find it was built in 1964! - Same as me!
Very impressive.
Are they fairly common or well thought of?
