Nice! When people talk about longest serving aircraft I never think of the Huey but that is a decent stint!

The RNZAF has only just retired theirs - those were mid 60's vintage if I recall correctly. Sometime in the 90's, the USAF donated one of their old worn out ones for the RNZAF museum, but that was newer and had fewer hours than the ones that NZ had in active service (and would be for another 20-odd years).
