Ridiculous or feasible with deep pockets?!
When browsing a memorabilia site for gift ideas for the old man, saw a Lynx HAS Mk3 for sale - no engines and essentially just the cab intact. Could you ever get something like this airworthy and approved to fly again? IIRC the Lynx rotorblade upgrade cost about a million quid a pop, so I'm guessing a restoration would be eye watering Flip side is there appear to be spares available as it's a 'current model' of sorts and there'll be no shortage of ex wafus with experience of spannering..

There's one of these in flying condition based at Blackpool

He also owns a little bird with bullet holes still in place. A top bloke if you ever meet them at a show I'm sure he'll show you around.

He did a 'touch and go' at Warton last summer I think it was - unmistakable sound of the wap-wap rotor slap - quite used to hearing Typhoon opening up but this was amazing stuff
