QRA or RAF playing games over Yorkshire today?

Couple of (presumably Eurogighters from Lincolnshire?) just made a very, very noisy and fast pass over Sherburn in Elmet (between Leeds and York) including what seemed to be a change of plan/direction and big acceleration.

Someone giving our airspace a prod somewhere?

I suspect turning transponders off would be beneficial in wartime.
