I don't know how many do a mix of jets and prop aircraft but I've been to the one at Edwards and that was awesome. A pair of MiG 17s Were the oldest flying and an F22 being the newest, Chuck Yager broke the sound barrier in an F15 directly over the crowd and there were plenty of great things on static display including the NASA B52, F18, T38 and a hanger full of old X-planes.
At Oshkosh this year there were loads of vintage ex-military types, jet and piston, US and other - as well as a plethora of in-service US and Canadian military aircraft displaying.....as well as shedloads of everything else.
Oshkosh isn't an just airshow, though, in the same way Glastonbury isn't a just a concert.....they're festivals. You could spend all week at Oshkosh and still only see 25% of the stuff going on.
Aside from standard flying displays, the sunset Pearl Harbour bunfight is something to behold - the number of aircraft, and the amount of smoke oil and pyrotechnics mean they manage to turn a perfect summer sunset into IMC in ten minutes flat.
Going to try Sun'n'Fun next year, but you should put Oshkosh on your bucket list. Budget for renting a golf buggy to get around, and the EAA Aviators Club as a base to chill out in, and you won't regret it.
