A fighter jet in your garage

A quick fantasy question here. In my mind I have this ideal image of my perfect garage/man cave where I have suspended from the ceiling either a Lockheed Starfighter or a F4 Phantom

What are the practicalities and potential costs of having what I would consider the perfect garage addition??

Don't worry I realise how big these planes are plus I was factoring in that engines would be removed plus most of the rest of the internal gubbins. As I said this is me in fantasy mode.

Has anyone done this and what do you think are the likely costs, plus are the planes available for such a project and again how much would it cost to get the aircraft looking visually right for display in such a fashion?

Its basically a concrete bunker below ground, so provided it is designed correctly your man cave could be a reality.

Also I see no reason why a separate steel structure could not be designed to carry the aircraft, this could be encased or painted to match the plane!

It could be a Ford ancestor, the Ford factory in Southampton built late war Spitfires like that one.
