Jet seems to keep going round in circles going to land then powering out again?

So I'm informed by my other half who was walking the dog nearby.

It's one of the RAFs fuel tankers, owned by Air Tankers and leased to Thomas Cook. They are convertible back to passenger use so perhaps it's being converted back for Thomas Cook for the summer or vice-versa?

At a guess Brize.

There's only IV(R)Sqn at Valley now 208 Sqn has folded AFAIK.

There were simultaneous LH and RH circuits - Main circuit at 1000ft, light aircraft circuit at 800ft.

IIRC we were second only to Heathrow in air movements / day.
