Unidentified Dambusters signature - who is it?

Evening all,
I wonder if some of you might be able to help with identifying a signature in a very old Dambusters book of mine, that I recently unearthed.
The first signature is the author, and the second is Len Sumpter. The fourth one is from George Johnson when I had the honour of meeting him and Martin Withers the other night (hence the picture, lazily grabbed from my social media).
Anyway, neither myself or anyone else can work out who the third signature is. I've been through a website with the complete list of Dambusters crew on it, and there simply isn't a match for a first name of John, the DFC, and a surname with a "y" or "p" in it.
Can anyone please shed any light?

According to the link Pulford had a DFM not DFC.
When was that edition of the book published as that would help you narrow it down by ruling out those who died before that date.
ETA According to his obituary Bennett's book was published in 1986 but a Google gives its publication date as 1987. Pulford was killed in 1944. Possibly a later member of 617 who wasn't on the raid or took part in 617's later expolits - bear in mind 617 has had a number of incarnations up to the present day so your best bet might be the 617 Association.

And assuming it is his signature...
Flying Officer (acting Flight Lieutenant) H.J.Pryor transferred to 617 Squadron on 15/02/1944 from 207 Squadron.
Awarded DFC in June 1944, and promoted to Flight Lieutenant in November 1944.
Flew 28 missions throughout 1944, including Tallboy strikes on the V sites at Mimoyecques and Wizernes.
Shot down on his 29th mission on 12/01/1945 during a raid on Bergen.

I was left wondering for a minute why he wasn't on the complete list of Dambusters crew I had been searching, but a bit of googling suggests he joined the squadron after the dams raid.
