any one done the spitfire or mustang experience at goodwood

husband would love to have a flight, any one done this already, and any pointers or tips thanks

If, by chance you are off to the USA this year, it's still more cost effective to achieve this aim over there.

Unless his heart is set on a Spit/'Stang. possibly cheaper and longer in the air experience would be flying a Cambridge Flying Group Tiger Moth based up at Marshalls Airport in - Cambridge.

I have done the Spitfire flight last July. Just an amazing experience.
What sort of tips are you after?
The only thing I can think of is that you need to prepare to be there for 4 - 5 hours as you will be one of 4 flights in your booked slot.

Flew in a Spit last year from Biggin Hill. Awesome experience.

Have a look at the Harvard at Goodwood. https://www.goodwood.com/experiences/flying/. It's not quite a Spit or Mustang, but still an old war bird. My Brother did it and loved it, the pilot said the experience is very close to a Spitfire, but a lot less ££. My Brother took the controls for quite a while.

I know the guys involved. Great outfit but they sell out a year or so in advance.

There's a couple of other options in the UK to do this. Classic Wings keeps popping up on my Facebook Feed, and there's a company about to start at Gloucester with a Harvard and Stearman.
