Bad Planning

Moving house from Milton Keynes to Bernhard Cadtle, Co Durham in 3 months. I didn't realise how empty the skies are going to be in our new location. The occasional Ryan going into Newcastle. Bad planning on my part. Should be one of the first things on a moving checklist.

Move to Keevil. Everyone around here is complaining at the moment (not sure why, we're on the edge of Salisbury Plain, what did they expect?!), the once sleepy virtually abandoned airfield seems to have become a key training area in the last few years.

Chinook, Merlin, Lynx and plenty of Apaches at the moment, on Tuesday night they went right through till about 5am.

An Apache, as it turns out, can indeed rattle your window frames when flown low and fast enough. Slightly quieter than the A400M that now frequents here at impressively low levels though.
