The image is labelled "Getty Images" on the BBC page. A quick look on Getty Images reveals nothing, but a Google search by image throws up a result on "iStock, by Getty Images". Click through to it and the original is tagged "Devon" among other things.

Might be Copplestone, Devon. If nothing else, it shows how poor the Google image search is - when I search for images with "Copplestone Station", it very quickly descends into just showing stations.

It's weird, in that it's a really wide platform with yellow lines denoting "stand behind here for passing high speed trains", but also a single track. There's quite a few on that line from Barnstaple to Crediton, but this is the only one that looks as if the platform is wide enough.

Saw a programme the other night with Julie Walters and it all look stunning.

Could happily spend a good deal of time at those stations

Is it definitely a UK station? As already mentioned, yellow line is in an odd position and the platform looks low but that might just be the camera angle. Station building looks more Italian or French style and the sunshine means it's unlikely to be Wales. Also, no litter, weeds or anything unpleasant along the track.
