Unfortunately my RIB order with another manufacturer has been delayed such that I am considering cancelling.

There seems to be good availability of BRIG ribs. I am now looking at the navigator 520/570.

I’d be interested to know whether anybody has experience of this brand? Our use case will be primarily coastal based family leisure / watersports with the occasional passage.

Thanks

We have a brig as a tender. It's a 3.60 mtr with 20hp Yamaha.
Its a great bit of kit and certainly seems as durable as other brands, and they seem to be getting more popular in the med, certainly over the past couple of years.

I’ve looked at a couple through work and they look well put together.
Try The Southampton dealer “Marine Matters”.

Highfield also worth a look.

JBT Marine also have a good variety of boats in stock.

Where in the country are you based?

Had a good blast around with a Navigator 570 with a Honda 225 in some solid 2-3ft Great Lakes chop. Lightweight and very nimble with great acceleration. It went very very well. The deep vee hull cutting through the waves cleanly and with no spray. Managed to coax 50mph out of it but started grabbing a bit too much airtime so had to back off. I was impressed with how fast it was able to comfortably cruise in sea conditions that your typical Sport Cruiser couldn’t hope to get near and would have smashed itself and you to bits long before.
