Hi all,

Sitting in my office today, I've had 3 different aircraft fly over, I ran out with the camera to capture them,

This one was flying around for a while - we live by the malvern hills

Looks like a commercial aircraft here, but was quite low..

This was quite a noisy beast too! never seen anything like it

Just wondering if someone could clarify what they are smile

The first one is an Airbus A400 Atlas.

The second looks to be a Raytheon Sentinel R1.

The third is Boeing V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor.

It always reminds me more of a VC10, there's something about the proportions and that elegant wing.

At first glance I thought VC-10 too - but it obviously couldn't be a VC-10 as there are none airworthy these days.

I'm a bit vague on my biz jets to be honest and find it hard to distinguish a Global Express from a Gulfstream.

Quite an exciting day!

Just had 7 of these in 2 formations on there 4th fly by over the house, (couldn't get them all in shot)

And 2 of these in formation, over the house twice, then much higher and louder the second time!

I keep running into the garden to see whats coming over next, may just pull up a chair there!

Tornados and F35. Think there's only 4 of the latter in the country at the moment.

Many thanks smile The F35 did seem to have quite distinctive engine sound.

It's a chuffing big engine, I think it's about 4 times the thrust of each of the Tornado's engines.

If you're not aware of it, this is the F35's party trick

Powerful then! On the second fly past, whist much higher, they seemed to be pushing a bit harder, as the sound made the ground shake, I could hear them for about 5 minutes after! even the dog was outside looking.

Thats very impressive as well cool didn't know they could do that.

I can’t be 100% but could be an F35 that’s flown over mine twice now (village just outside St Neots, Cambs). Loud and thunderous jet.
