Having seen two other similar threads on this forum front page, perhaps worth having a single thread for all out Aircraft ID needs?

(Possibly even a "sticky"?)

Anyhoo, here's mine from yesterday.

Crappy pics from phone:

4 piston engines, possibly DC7?

I looked on FR24, but got distracted with the Vought Corsair & B25 Mitchell from the Flying Bulls.

Nearly right. It's the Red Bull DC-6.

Of all the "classic" four piston engined airliners built, there are more DC-6s than any other type. This is because they were built in fairly large numbers including a significant number for the US Air Force and Navy (as the C-118).

In comparison, the DC-7 was not built in massive numbers - chiefly because the new jets (the 707 and the DC--8) were just around the corner. Consequently, there aren't so many 7s still flying.
