I couldn't see a post about this.
The Mid Norfolk Railway (MNR) announced a 3m contract to store mainline trains for Greater Anglia.
Work has already started on the sidings.
Its good to see companies investing in smaller railways.
The MNR already have several contracts with rail companies for testing, training, storage and testing.

I think the Great Central Railway is used as a Test Track.

Various MOD establishments with rail connections have been used for years , it must be a well paying contract as most heritage railways have alot of there own stuff taking up siding space. There is also the asthetic aspect to consider, as the paying visitor doesn't really want just out of lease rolling stock in view. Still nice little earner hopefully keeping the kettles boiling.
