On Tuesday we were subject to a pair of sonic booms across southwest France. The French Airforce claim the planes were at 50,000 feet and around 150 miles away.
Given the force of the booms, I am not sure we have been given the correct info but I wondered, are there any effects felt by other aircraft flying at the same time, as the pressure shock wave passes them ?
