Correct - although not called Brave Challenger I beleive when the video was taken! wink Aug 89

Both made by the same company and both appear in lists of worlds fastest Super yachts.... although the foreground one doesn't look quite the same anymore....

Can no one take a guess as to what the foreground boat is - or do I need to provide more clues smile - it's Owner was thrown into the Sea off the bow of it 2 days before in the Scilly Isles by a certain Airline Owner...….. and said owner pulled Airline owner with him and the both ended up in the harbour.

I did think it looked like Atlantic challenger but I can only find photos of number 2 which it clearly isn’t.

you are getting very warm! Designed by the same bloke - Peter Birkett - which is why they look similar - but this was a little newer than Branson's number 2

Here she is almost going flat out somewhere off Devon on the way from Scillies to the Solent- I believe the stall speed of the aircraft my late father filmed it from was about 80mph (there is some commentary on the video by the pilot etc. to the affect that the boat is almost keeping up!)

I was lucky enough to be on board as a teenager biggrin
