I went to RIAT this year for first time and it was great. Friday only.
next year i understand isn't a full on Friday (as its not a special year (despite it being NATO anniversary))just aircraft arriving.
i had planned on going Friday and Saturday and meeting rest of family on the Saturday, but if Fridays not proper day seems a bit pointless.
So im wondering if anyone who's been on a Friday in a 'normal' year can advise if its worth it and if there's anything going on, stalls, sideshows, commentary of whats coming in/practicing etc

I do FRIAT mach3 every year (Weds-Monday) & Friday is a great day, very relaxed & you get some movements you wont see on Sat/Sun. the only thing that goes against it is the price, the rise for Friday this year is crazy
thanks are there concession stalls on the Friday, and any commentary?ta, once the cricket fixtures coem out and assuming no clashes i will book my tickets!
actually one other question, is FRIAT worth it for 2 days. last time i got garden enclosure tickets but we spent about 5 mons in there the whole day, a plastic chare when better viewing could be had at the start of the runway seemed a bit pointless and the bag drop wasnt used either.
