Sonic Booms two in one week!
Discussion
Well up till this week I had only ever heard Concords sonic boom over the Bay of Biscay (At around 11am if you were southbound on the Ferry to Spain on a Friday to be precise)
However this week on Thursday heard one at home around 1pm, this one slightly muffled

Heard many Concorde sonic booms when on holiday in Cornwall many years ago.
Sadly those days are long gone.
That was part of growing up for me, we lived in a old house with big sash windows and the one in my room always gave a minuscule shudder while the boom was mostly quite audible. For whatever reason sometimes you wouldn't hear the boom, but sitting in my room I would notice the window. Mum always said they were supposed to be further off Lands End before they broke the barrier as we were living 40 miles West in Falmouth. Sadly those days are long gone.
We had 2 eurofighters go supersonic either earlier this year or last year over Yorkshire when they were on qra
Absolutely brilliant!
