Intex Challenger K2 Kayak

Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Challenger K2?
Thinking ahead to summer sports and I want something I can do with my six year old daughter besides the usual cycling etc....
Looking for something extremely stable for obvious reasons (safety precautions will be taken, obviously!)
The idea is to inflate and go!
I will in Austria so will mostly be used in (sometimes deep) fresh water lakes and non tidal slow moving rivers

It would be fine for the use you are proposing, its more than an inflatable toy - its stable and tracks in a straight line with the skeg.
For an introduction to being on the water its pretty good and obviously cheap, just don't expect too much from it
You do have to be aware that its susceptible of cross winds on lakes etc as its pretty light
I had one for a while, but will confess that I upgraded to a Sit On Top (SOT) after a while, and this is a better boat - more stable, faster but obviously much heavier, and a bit more of a pain to transport / launch etc

I did look at these when a friend purchased one. After reading some reviews I quickly came to the conclusion that there are better alternative out there for the same price if you don’t mind looking at second hand.
I eventually purchased a Sevylor Voyager for £100 complete with 2 paddles. This was far better in terms of quality with features such as better supporting seats, inflation gauges on side bladders, self-bailing ports (which can be closed) and most importantly for me, a separate, strong, durable canvas outer cover. Given I was launching from river banks abundant with brambles, during the 14 months I was using it I never experienced a single puncture, unlike my friend who managed to puncture his Intex K2 just carrying it a short distance back to the car.
Having had both on the water, I would also say the Sevylor tracked better with its two built in strakes over the single rear fitted to the K2.
All in all though, a good introduction to the water which I got plenty of use out of before changing to a hard shell Perception Sierra (also sold the Sevylor for £120 after just over a year
