I made the mistake of going to Duxford with my 6 yr old nephew yesterday. i didnt realise it was the fly past. lots of 'characters' there!
what i found odd though, is most of them turned up i assume very early, then after the 3 second fly past streamed off. To me that would have been a complete waste of time. Why bother?

19? we cost 30 with gift aid! when i arrived at 11 and cars were queuing back i was a bit worried, i mean i knew it would be busier being HT but never seen that before! likewise queuing to get into the ticket area/shop...sadly it wouldn't let me purchase online for same day when i had that genius idea having been in the queue for 10 mins already.https://www.iwm.org.uk/membership
